About the wind farm
Around 95 kilometres off the island of Borkum in the German North Sea lies one of the ten largest wind farms in the world: Veja Mate. A total of 67 wind turbines are expected to save 18 million tonnes of CO2 over their lifetime. By doing so, Veja Mate is making a significant contribution towards a more sustainable electricity economy.
