The management of the Commerz Real open-ended real estate fund Hausinvest has reported a posi-tive leasing performance for the first six months of 2024. Thus the total value of all lease extensions and new leases, calculated over their entire term, amounted to around 309 million euros. This is about 42 per cent more than in the first six months of 2023 (217 million euros).

Among the most lucrative leases remain those for office space, for example the premature long-term extension by the Pels Rijcken law firm for more than 11,000 square metres in The Hague, and that by the French care service provider Clariane in the Etoile Saint Honoré property in Paris for more than 4,000 square metres.
Office areas are and will remain a decisive factor for the success of our portfolio. This will only be the case, however, with the right location and quality of the properties.
