Real estate develops largely independently of equity markets and thus offers protection against short-term price fluctuations. Rental income from long-term contracts with high-credit tenants ensures predictable income. hausInvest has achieved positive performance every year since it was founded in 1972.2 For investors who do not want or cannot invest directly in individual properties, real estate funds offer access to a professionally managed, broad portfolio.

Private investors can invest in a broadly diversified real estate portfolio via hausInvest, starting with small amounts, traded daily. Institutional investors have access to specialised funds focused on hotel or micro-living real estate. In both cases, Commerz Real’s fund management is responsible for the selection, purchase, rental and sale of the properties. The income from rental income and appreciation flows to investors as a return.

Firstly, experience: On the market for over 50 years - and with positive performance every year since 1972.2 Secondly, the approach: We work with a network of local market experts, sustainability specialists and technology partners instead of mapping everything in-house. Thirdly, connecting real estate, renewables and infrastructure under one roof: An approach that makes portfolios more future-proof.

Sustainability is part of the investment process, not just reporting. When purchasing each property, we check the CO₂ intensity and the impact on our net-zero target by 2050. During ongoing operations, we systematically record energy consumption and conclude green leases, which are lease agreements that commit landlords and tenants together to resource-efficient business. Already 22%3 of the leased space of the Commerz Real Group has green leases. hausInvest also promotes environmental characteristics within the meaning of Article 8 of the EU Disclosure Regulation.4
