Orio Center to Generali and Percassi and NH-Hotel to Percassi
Commerz Real has sold its Orio Center and the neighbouring NH Hotel – which are located just to the south of Bergamo. The center is taken over by a joint venture made up of a pan-European fund managed by Generali Real Estate and of the Percassi Group, a local project developer. Buyer of the hotel is the Percassi Group only.
Commerz Real acquired the Orio Center, which had been completed in 1998, for its hausInvest open-ended real estate fund in 2000, supplementing it in its portfolio in subsequent years with vari-ous extensions and the hotel, which was completed in 2008. At present the mall encompasses some 250 stores on a rentable area of 67,700 square metres and is leased virtually entirely.
The neighbouring hotel has 118 rooms. Located three kilometres south of Bergamo, the Orio Center and the hotel stand out thanks to their direct links to the A4 motorway, Italy’s busiest road, and their immediate proximity to Milan Bergamo Airport.
