Transformational investing
At first glance, our task seems to be clearly defined: we develop institutional investment funds with a focus on tangible assets as well as individual solutions for national and international insurance companies, pension funds, banks, pension insurance companies, churches, foundations and family offices. Simply safety-oriented investments that make certain potential returns possible.
But the world of institutional investments is changing. Megatrends such as digitalisation and sustainability are associated with a new social responsibility, which now also focuses on maximising the common good instead of purely maximising profits. Growth will have new benchmarks in the future. These will not only be based on economic but also on environmental and social criteria.
As an institutional asset manager, we incorporate this responsibility into our perspective, our mission and our framework of action. Institutional investments are more than just an end in themselves. We are convinced that institutional capital should work for society as a whole – and can do more than generate returns.
How do we meet the complex challenges of our time? How can we accelerate the energy transition together? And how do we use our properties to shape the cities of the future? These and other questions motivate our daily thinking and actions. In this way, we provide forward-looking impetus at the social level – and ensure a sustainable transformation of our fund solutions at the economic level.
