Commerz Real leased almost 1,500 square metres of office and practice space to the company Eterno on Bockenheimer Landstraße 33-35 in Frankfurt am Main for an initial 12 years. Jenes will operate a novel coworking concept for doctors and therapists in so-called primary care, i.e. basic health care and initial consultation. The property is part of the portfolio of the hausInvest open-ended real estate fund of Commerz Real. “E t erno fits perfectly into our strategy of attracting tenants with future-oriented concepts from the healthcare sector,” explains fund manager Mario Schüttauf. From August 2022, the company will operate practice and therapy areas as well as yoga, fitness and cafe areas on the ground floor of the building and on the fifth floor. Frankfurt is its second location after Hamburg. By the end of 2023, five more “Eterno hubs” will open in German metropolises - and up to 50 more in the coming years.
Eterno aims to provide patients with active health management by qualified physicians, therapists and coaches in a pleasant atmosphere. Doctors and other healthcare experts, on the other hand, should be relieved of the daily administrative tasks necessary for a practice operation. For example, Eterno states that IT provides access to telemedical platforms, management software, IT, marketing and billing services. While clinicians can manage their practice via cloud software and gain insight into digital medical records, patients should be able to book appointments or attend video consultations via the platform and be reminded of medication intake and screening examinations.
