Commerz Real and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield look back on a successful fourth quarter of 2023. In Europe’s largest shopping centre, the 255,000 square metre Westfield London, numerous new rentals and rental extensions cover more than 19,000 square metres in total. One of the most prominent new rentals is the Samsung Experience Store, which opened at the beginning of 2024 on 500 square metres with a 10-year contract.

Other highlights include the opening of the second branch of the Chinese electric car brand BYD (Build Your Dreams) in the United Kingdom in April 2024, a significant increase in the space of the Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo and the early extension of the lease agreement with Adidas, and the associated modernisation of the space. The international cinema chain Vue is also moving its new UK headquarters to one of the centre’s office buildings.

Commerz Real and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield also made a positive summary for the Food Court, which was modernised in 2018 and 2019. For example, the rental contracts of four restaurants have been extended. In total, the Food Court now consists of 13 international restaurants and a shared area of 1,300 seats.
