Markus Eismann (52) is assuming the chairmanship of the management of Commerz Real Mobilien-leasing GmbH as of 1 April 2024. He is succeeding Dr. Christoph Halstrick (65), who is retiring at the end of the year. Until then Halstrick is remaining with Commerz Real Mobilienleasing as a strategic consultant and so as ensure a seamless transfer to Markus Eismann.

I would like to thank Christoph Halstrick for his extraordinary commitment and dedication over many years. He has been a member of the management of Commerz Real Mobilienleasing for twelve years, the last six years as its chairman. In this fast-moving period we have successfully positioned ourselves on the market and in the Commerzbank Group on a sustainable basis as a leading manufacturer-independent leasing provider and as a reliant partner for Germany’s SME sector, significantly expanding our business both in the structured transaction field and in the standardised small ticket segment.
The designated managing director Markus Eismann has extensive experience both in the sales and back office areas. The business management graduate has worked in the leasing sector for more than 20 years now, ultimately as general manager Sales and a member of the management board of MMV Bank GmbH / MMV Leasing GmbH. Further milestones in his professional career include leading positions in the PEAC Finance Group and at UniCredit Leasing.
I am very much looking forward to contributing with Commerz Real to the further growth of a leasing business that has successfully developed over the years. In the future the management of Commerz Real Mobilienleasing will therefore comprise Markus Eismann, Jochen Welling and Oliver Golder. Commerz Real Mobilienleasing is part of Com-merzbank Group and ranks among the large manufacturer-independent leasing providers in Germany. The company finances machinery, commercial vehicles and other fixed assets, primarily for corporate clients of Commerzbank, and manages leasing agreements with a total volume of about 5 billion euros.
