Markus Eismann (52) will take over as Chairman of the Management Board of Commerz Real Mobilienleasing GmbH on 1 April 2024. He succeeds Dr. Christoph Halstrick (65), who will retire at the end of this year. Until then, Halstrick of Commerz Real Mobilienleasing will remain as a strategic consultant and will ensure a comprehensive handover to Markus Eismann.

I would like to thank Christoph Halstrick for his many years of exceptional commitment. He spent twelve years on the management board of Commerz Real Mobilienleasing, the last six years as Chairman. In these moving times, we have positioned ourselves sustainably and successfully as a leading manufacturer-independent leasing provider and consistent partner for German SMEs in the market and in the Commerzbank Group, and significantly expanded our business both in the structured transaction area and in the standardised small ticket segment.

The appointed Managing Director Markus Eismann brings with him extensive experience on both the market and the market follow-up side. He has been working in the leasing industry for more than 20 years, most recently as General Manager Market and member of the Management Board of MMV Bank GmbH/MMV Leasing GmbH. Other professional positions included leading positions in the PEAC Finance Group and at UniCredit Leasing.

The management of Commerz Real Mobilienleasing will thus consist of Markus Eismann, Jochen Welling and Oliver Golder. Commerz Real Mobilienleasing is part of the Commerzbank Group and is one of the largest manufacturer-independent leasing providers in Germany. The company finances machines, commercial vehicles and other fixed assets primarily for corporate customers of Commerzbank and manages leasing contracts with a total volume of around 5 billion euros.
