Commerz Real and project developer Helios Nordic Energy have opened the King’s Roar solar park in central Västerås, Sweden. With 32,500 solar panels, the power plant has a rated output of 22 megawatts peak and covers the calculated annual electricity demand of around 2,500 Swedish households. The opening ceremony on the 25-hectare site was also attended by the Swedish Environment Minister Romina Pourmokhtari as a greeting speaker.

With the grid connection of 'King’s Roar', we are recording the next milestone in the international expansion of our renewable energy portfolio. This strengthens diversification for our investors and makes a material contribution to the European energy transition.
