Orio Centre goes to Generali and Percassi and NH-Hotel to Percassi
Commerz Real has sold its Orio Centre south of Bergamo and the adjacent NH hotel. The centre goes to a joint venture from a pan-European fund of Generali Real Estate and the local project developer Percassi Group, and the hotel only goes to Percassi Group.
Commerz Real acquired the Orio Centre built in 1998 in 2000 for the hausInvest open-ended real estate fund and then added various expansions and the hotel built in 2008 to the portfolio in the following years. The centre currently comprises 67,700 square metres of rental space with around 250 shops and is almost fully leased.
The adjoining hotel has 118 rooms. Located three kilometres south of Bergamo, the Orio Centre and the hotel are characterised by a direct connection to the A4, Italy’s most frequently driven motorway, as well as by the immediate neighbourhood of Bergamo airport.
