Sebastian Flick took on the role of Global Head of CFB Funds, Structured Finance and Investments at Commerz Real on 1 December 2024. In this area, the tangible assets subsidiary of Commerzbank bundles its closed-end funds for private investors as well as various financing products, ranging from real estate leasing financing to operator and lease models and participation models. Flick follows Martin Suchsland, who retired in autumn 2024 after more than 30 years at Commerz Real.

Sebastian Flick has many years of experience in investment management and managing investment portfolios of institutional investors. Prior to joining Commerz Real, the graduate economist worked for ARAG SE since 2012. He most recently worked there as head of the Alternative Investments & Real Estate department and was responsible for investments in the infrastructure, real estate and private equity asset classes. Prior to that, he worked for Talanx Asset Management, HSBC Trinkaus and Kreissparkasse Cologne.

At Commerz Real, he is responsible for the comprehensive management of a portfolio of around seven billion euros for 70,000 investors. In addition to real estate, this also includes ships, an aircraft and photovoltaic and wind power plants.
