How does an investment in real estate work at Commerz Real?
Here, the fund volume is invested in equities of sustainable companies. The returns generated by the funds – and thus also the returns for our investors – result from rental income or the sale of real estate, among other things.
Our open-ended real estate fund hausInvest is open to retail investors. It has been established on the financial market for more than 50 years and has been able to achieve a positive performance² every year to date. Institutional investors have the choice between our hotel funds Commerz Real Institutional Hotel Fund and Commerz Real Institutional European Hotel Fund as well as our micro-living funds Commerz Real Institutional Smart Living Fund and Commerz Real Institutional Smart Living Europe Fund, which meet the increasing demand for flexibly usable housing in a good location and open up an investment opportunity.
Which real estate does Commerz Real invest in?
With hausInvest, investors invest in over 150 properties around the world with 14 different types of use, from office towers in New York and Frankfurt to London shopping centres and residential neighbourhoods in Nuremberg.
Our hotel funds for institutional investors invest in hotel properties in many countries and focus primarily on core real estate, i.e. particularly high-quality properties in international metropolises and tourism centres. The institutional micro-living funds focus on residential complexes in growing university cities in Germany and Europe.

With our hausInvest open-ended real estate fund, we also attach great importance to long-term leases with tenants with good credit ratings. This allows us to further increase our planning security and pass it on to our investors in the form of long-term stability and regular distributions.
