Healing architecture Made in Germany
When wellness markets are booming and hospitals are tempting parents-to-be with charmingly designed delivery rooms, it’s time to reimagine healthcare: Shouldn't healthcare have been reinvented a long time ago? Eterno, an innovative healthcare startup, says “yes” – and implements this vision together with hausInvest.
Visionary healthcare
Driven by the need to redesign and improve healthcare, Eterno founders Maximilian Waldmann and Frederic Haitz completely reimagined the concept of the doctor’s practice at the end of 2019.
Their vision was a place of healthcare designed to be modern, digital and with a clear focus on patient well-being. Design and aesthetics were central elements here. The rooms are designed to encourage a health-conscious lifestyle, such as the ground floor of Eterno with a cosy bar and a relaxed yoga and Pilates area.

Practical concept with a future
The idea behind it has two major benefits: on the one hand, the holistic health of patients is put into the limelight. On the other hand, modern and optimised work processes counteract the shortage of doctors in Germany.
This is why Eterno is designed so that doctors can rent practice spaces – similar to a co-working space – while remaining independent. The founders are aiming for a full-service offering that includes state-of-the-art medical technology, practice organisation and administration. This can save 30 percent of the cost of a single practice and give practising doctors more resources to focus on caring for the health of their patients.

Technology and design go hand-in-hand
Eterno combines natural design with the latest technologies, stylish furnishings and atmospheric lighting. All of these elements are part of the healing architecture – and therefore perfectly aligned to provide patients and doctors alike with a unique experience of modern healthcare.
While the spaces are intended to have an impact on patients’ recovery, digital connectivity via telemedicine platforms, management software and marketing tools serves to simplify work processes. This IT infrastructure makes efficient management possible and also makes it easier for patients to access digital health data and appointment bookings.
Eterno has implemented this concept in cooperation with hausInvest: Eterno opened one of its first locations in Frankfurt am Main, on Bockenheimer Landstrasse 33 to 35. In the modern seven-storey office building “Windows”, the start-up has finally found the ideal space for the healing architecture concept. The premises offered Eterno founders and architects a lot of flexibility to let their creativity run wild and implement their ideas optimally.

Rethinking health together
With the opening of co-working spaces for doctors in Frankfurt, in cooperation with the open-ended real estate fund hausInvest, Eterno is setting another milestone for making a health impact.
Implementing such a revolutionary concept requires strong partnerships and hausInvest was able to provide Eterno with the necessary space to realise its vision and unfold its concept freely. This is because tenants are of greater importance to hausInvest: they are image bearers, bring the property to life and thus also have an impact on their immediate living environment. In this way, hausInvest and Eterno are helping to initiate an important social development and set new impetus in German healthcare.
At the same time, hausInvest always keeps an eye on the needs of its investors and sees potential for reliable, future-proof tenants in innovative companies such as Eterno. This partnership approach enables stable potential returns in the long term and regular distributions, which in turn benefit hausInvest investors.
In addition, hausInvest is using this collaboration to further tap into the strategic field of the future: health. In view of demographic change and increasing health awareness, modern medical infrastructure is an important area for helping to shape the habitats of the future today.
